ANC, ActionSA Hold Talks to Resolve Budget Deadlock

The ANC and ActionSA met on Tuesday to address the national budget impasse, reaffirming their commitment to fiscal stability and protecting vulnerable citizens. Led by ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula and ActionSA President Herman Mashaba, the meeting focused on the proposed VAT increase, with both parties agreeing to seek alternatives and delay any changes until after 1 May 2025.
